Biogas agitator
The central role of the right stirring technology
An agitator plays a central role in biogas plants. It ensures uniform mixing and temperature distribution of the digester contents, a constant supply of raw material to the bacteria and ensures that the biogas produced is completely stirred out of the substrate. Choosing the right biogas agitator is therefore crucial for the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the entire plant.
- Excellent for demanding, long-fiber substrates
- High efficiency with very low power consumption
- Optimal and bacteria-friendly mixing
- Extremely long service life thanks to robust construction
- Low-maintenance system for maximum reliability
Our biogas agitator: Proven technology for maximum efficiency
As the original among slow-running large agitators, the Paddlegigant® has proven its high efficiency in thousands of systems. It is the reliable and powerful solution for mixing the most demanding substrates and was specially developed for structurally rich, long-fiber materials and high dry substance contents. With a low speed of only approx. 10 rpm, its four inclined paddles are extremely energy-efficient and biologically gentle. Sinking and floating layers are effectively avoided and the gases are completely stirred out of the fermenter contents.
The maximum reliability and durability of the biogas agitator: Paddlegigant® is based on its extremely robust design. For easy maintenance, the drive unit is accessible at all times as it is mounted on the outside of the fermenter. Inside, a maintenance-free plain bearing on the agitator shaft guarantees maximum operational reliability, even in demanding continuous operation.
