SCR catalytic converter ak-SCR300 & ak-SCR400
Highly efficient gas engine technology
The legal requirements for emission limits for CHP units are becoming stricter. In particular, nitrogen oxides (NOx), ammonia, formaldehyde and carbon monoxide are the focus of the 44th Federal Immission Control Ordinance (BImSchV). The use of an SCR catalytic converter is essential for many biogas plants in order to be able to comply with future limits in the long term. agriKomp-Fertigung supplies you with practical, high-performance SCR systems including all the necessary components, sensors and documentation.
Highlights of our SCR catalytic converters:
- Reactor housing with oxidation and SCR catalyst blocks (ceramic full extrudate)
- Temperature range: 350 - 500 °C / back pressure: 15 - 35 mbar
- Complete system with pre-cooler, dosing pump, sensors, AdBlue tank & control unit
- Urea consumption: approx. 0.7 - 1.3 l/bh with reduction from 500 to 100 mg/Nm³
Planning & retrofitting
The ak-SCR300 and ak-SCR400 SCR systems from agriKomp-Fertigung have been specially developed for biogas CHPs up to 400 kWel. They reliably reduce nitrogen oxides, formaldehyde and CO to below legal limits. With their robust reactor housing, precise dosing technology, integrated sensors and adaptable AdBlue supply, both systems offer a powerful, future-proof solution for emission-compliant systems.
For new plants, the SCR catalyst should be considered as early as the planning phase—particularly the space requirements for the reactor housing, the dosing station, and the tank. The systems can be integrated in two stages: installation of the mixing and injection section in Stage 1, and the complete system with controls in Stage 2.
Existing systems will be obliged to comply with NOx limits from 2029. Retrofitting is possible, but must be carefully examined from a technical and economic perspective.
