Biogas plants process significant amounts of substrate during operation. Efficient solid-liquid separation of the fermentation products is crucial for process optimization. This separation reduces transportation and storage costs, lowers the energy consumption required for mixing, and yields valuable, separated end products: a solid, stackable, recyclable material and a liquid, nitrogen-rich fertilizer.

As the original separator, our Quetschprofi® has been setting standards in terms of reliability and efficiency since 2007. For users with the highest demands on performance and throughput, we have developed our Quetschprofi® Plus – the “high performer” for large biogas, biowaste and industrial plants as well as for the demanding sewage treatment plant sector.
The secret of its superior performance lies in its sophisticated design: The extension of the housing, screen and press screw by 100 mm enables a 10 % to 25 % higher throughput rate compared to the standard model. The precise, low tolerance between screen and screw also achieves a higher degree of separation. The Quetschprofi® Plus can be used to efficiently process fermentation products with a dry matter content of up to 30 %.
