Biogas plants complete the future decentralized and renewable energy system, worldwide. Whether waste plant or renewable raw materials, Feedstock for biogas plants can be stored for long periods of time and used to generate electricity and heat as required.
Modern biogas plants can be seamlessly integrated into the system comprising PV, wind power, and battery storage through increased flexibility, expanded CHP capacity, the installation of additional gas storage facilities, and the integration of large hot-water buffer tanks. Our CHP plants can flexibly and controllably supply energy during short periods of high electricity demand through peak output, even when energy from solar or wind is not available.
This solution is a win-win for everyone involved, as long as there are long-term heat consumers available. Lower heat demand in the summer — which in the future may be met exclusively by solar and wind energy as well as battery power — and the demand for renewable gases are increasingly drawing attention across Europe and worldwide to the conversion of biogas into biomethane. In combination with innovative biological methanation (power-to-gas technology), we see enormous potential for our technologies.

Our location - our strength
Since 2002: agriKomp-Fertigungs GmbH & Co. KG is the development and production center of the bestore Group based in Merkendorf (Bavaria).
With around 50 employees, we develop and manufacture biogas technology “Made in Germany” – robust, efficient and ready for use throughout Europe.
Since 2024: We have also made our expertise available to external partners — and bring our components, systems, and know-how to new markets.

Our engineers think ahead. Whether it’s biological methanation (power-to-gas with GICON), the use of AI in maintenance or new catalysis processes for exhaust gas purification – we are actively driving forward the biogas technology of the next generation.
